Does anyone remember the green hat Michael Nesmith wore on the TV show "The Monkees?" Well, my daughter wants to make it. I have found a hat pattern with a ribbed cuff, but not one that is ribbed all the way up like this one. We're too new at knitting to figure out the decreases in a ribbed pattern.

Here's a black & white pic of the hat

Any help appreciated!
Thanks,
Deon

I LOVE the Monkees, and Mike was always my favorite! Looks to me like it's just a k1p1 rib... If you just keep in the pattern when you get to the decreases, that is, keep knitting one then purling one, you should be fine....

Thanks so much for the responses. I'll check out the Waldo hat, and the one previously posted looks like it will do. My daughter will be excited to try this out!
