The Knit Contour is an attachment that plugs into the row counter of the LK-150. Using 1/4 scale or 1/2 scale, you draw (or use the included pre-drawn schematics) your shape on the paper. With your gauge information in hand you match that information to the stitch/row count ruler. Put it on the knit contour and it tells you how many stitches to cast on for your gauge and that shape. As you pass the carriage across the row counter, the shape increments per row. You can follow the shape to know when to increase or decrease your knitting. And, if you draw an intarsia design, when to change colors too. HTH -- Let me know if you have any questions --
