Is there anywhere to get/buy the pattern for Ene's Scarf w/o buying the Scarf Style book? I have two skeins of KnitPick's Shimmer in Turquoise Splendor that saw the Ene on Renocat's blog and are now telling me that they want to be that beautiful, too. Maybe I'll just go ahead and get the book, have people found other patterns in it useful?

The book is very good and is available on Amazon and at Knitpicks for not more than you would pay for 2 or 3 individual patterns. I would say to buy it for Ene's pattern and you will find a bonus in all the other things in the book.

Hi Kadiddly, I bought scarf style just for Ene's scarf and it turned out being the 3 rd project I made out of the book, plus I cast on a frogged another one because I didn't like the yarn I was using...so it is worth it to buy the book. But that said...I have gotten books from the library if there was only one pattern in it I wanted to make....
(boy I hope that doesn't open up the copyright discussion again )

bah, I have no problem with borrowing a book for one pattern. That's why libraries have books, yes? What else are you supposed to do if you borrow a knitting pattern book? Make everything out of it before the due date? As long as you don't sell the pattern or the item you made, I don't have a problem with it.
I went ahead and ordered Scarf Style and, to get my $30 shipping minimum, A Gathering of Lace as well. My pretty yarn had to be shipped back to CA from my parents' (the box was too big to carry with me on the plane), so hopefully it and the pattern will get here around the same time!
