Here is the 4th time on a wheel, I am so very pleased with this, I was being super careful not to over spin, but to spin enough. It's Louet Corriedal Top. LOVE IT! I love this, I feel like I might be good at it!! :) YAY!
It's not as thinly spun as the coopworth, but I like a nice thick yarn!

Oh my gosh Pixie! I am so impressed! How did you get it all so uniform in thickness? I struggled so much tonight with the stuff I got that I gave up. I've been so intent on not overtwisting that it kept falling apart on me! I'll try again tomorrow.
Donna in RI http://donnaknitsandspins.tripod.com/ I'm going on a high fiber diet for New Years: romney, corriedale, merino.... |

I seriously think it's the fabric, the stuff that came with the wheel looks SOO BAD spun up. I started with coopworth, and then I felt I had enough control to deal with the corriedale top, cause the top stuff is harder to um.. to stretch out on the fly while spinning, but after all my practice with the coopworth I felt I could do it and I did!
The other stuff the wheel came with is like.. BLEH I can't do it, it's thick then thin and way overspun. I swear it's the fiber, and all those years of horse back ridding LOL!! (Hand eye coordinartion).

I also had my first success with Corriedale, though it is not as beautifully regular as yours. Then the second batch, which I actually also got to ply -- really nice (pictures up tomorrow), also Corriedale.
