I thought I'd never get done, DH added a few changes to the pattern on me so it took me I little longer to finish it. The scarf in the first photo is actually the lower body panel on the first try. He wanted his jacket to be an XXL but after knitting a few ridges I convinced him that was going to be way way to big, so rather then frog it back I turned it into a scarf for him. First photo is jacket before the buttons before buttons http://img831.imageshack.us/img831/2166/1000388f.jpghttp://img221.imageshack.us/img221/905/1000421l.jpg
Thank You , he's pretty happy with it. He's pushing me now to finish his Einstein Coat which I just BO the lower body panel this week. I'm knitting that one with Araucania Limari Yarn which is bulky, so it will be a very warm and heavy coat
Hey that looks really great but - Do I see spring bulbs in the background of the first picture? Bother! It did not get finished until spring! Still there is always next winter. He does look very pleased about it too. Now you have all spring and summer to finish the Einstein coat and make some gloves to match the blue one because I think his hands look a bit cold in the second picture. You also need to adopt my motto for your knitting and then look at all the hugs you are giving him. Although I certainly agree with your motto. On that note - A friend told me once that he saw a young woman with a small boy walking along the street and the child pulled her over to look at the nativity scene in a shop window and the mother muttered "Some people bring religion into everything"
"Save The Planet, It's The Only One With Chocolate On It" is my all time favorite Motto. But my top of the list , number one, motto which I stand behind is "If You Can't Stand Behind Our Troops ,Please Fell FREE To Stand In Front Of Them "
AND shame on that Mother, what a poor example she is setting for that boy not to mention what an Idiot she is with especially a comment of that nature .
