I did finally find mine, haven't finished yet though. I lost my mojo.... My name is Mindy, I'm a knitter, and I haven't touched needles in over 3 weeks.

Thanks minh, I definitely need a cheering section and some motivation. I started working full time again and it's sucking the life out of me, and my will to knit.

It looks like I'll finally finish my second Hedgie either tonight or tomorrow. In the meantime, I have question. The yarn I am currently using is 18 wpi and the yarn for the next pair is 14 wpi. Is this difference significant enough to make the "men's" version? Or should I make the women's version again? The recipient is female and her hands are at least as small as mine.
Thanks!
Melanie

Melanie, your best bet will probably be to use the women's pattern and smaller needles for your friend's mitts, assuming her hands aren't a great deal smaller than yours. If they're significantly smaller, consider taking out pattern repeats. The women's version has a longer arm portion than the men's, but that's the biggest difference between the two. Both versions start with the same number of stitches, so using the men's or women's pattern won't affect the circumference of the finished mitt if you use the same needles and same yarn for each.

Thanks, Lanea! I'm actually trying to do them both at the same time on 2 circulars! A bit fussy for the first inch but I do seem to be moving along!
