November 3, 2004
|As you read this, I'll be boarding a plane for Virginia to attend our third-annual Knitter's Review Retreat. In a rustic lodge at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, more than 60 knitters will be relaxing around a large fieldstone fireplace for a weekend of laughter and learning. You'll get a full report—with plenty of pictures—when we return.|
In the meantime, I have a review of Debbie Bliss' Cotton Angora that shows what happens when two fibers in the same yarn don't get along.
In the Boutique: Holiday Cards
Show your love of yarn by sending our knitting-themed holiday cards this season. We have five fiberly images to choose from, plus three traditional scenes. And don't forget to check out our Knitter's Review 2005 Year in Yarn calendar, which has a bonus poster in the center!
In the Forums: Make Knitting Friends
Don't like to knit alone? Then check out the Seeking Nearby Knitters section of our forums. A great knitting group may be just around the corner from you.

As always, I thank you for your readership and your support. Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the forums.
