Knitter's Review July 28, 2005 We knitters can be a bit odd about our tools. We'll fiercely pounce on a $.25 box of used aluminum needles at a yard sale. Yet later we'll unblinkingly plunk down $25 for a pair of rosewood DPNs if they're special enough. This week I review some needles that definitely are special enough: Lantern Moon single-pointed straight knitting needles from Vietnam.        In the Boutique: Baskets are Back! Update: We sold out already! More in August... After a far longer wait than expected, I'm happy to report that we have a new batch of wicker baskets with embroidered lining in stock. Order early, as these seem to fly off the shelves. (Limit two baskets per customer.) Time for the 2005 Retreat!
