Most people do their spring cleaning in the spring. But as the Maine air already hints of fall, I find myself rushing the arrival of winter so I can free my favorite woolens from their summer storage.
They were washed before I put them away in the spring, but I like to re-wash my woolens a second time in the fall to perk up the fibers and keep moth larvae at bay.
