Posted - 03/05/2012 : 5:41:29 PM My DH did buy me a Refurbished Singer Chunky Knitting machine (Singer SK 155) today, and I did go for a free lesson, but it was a lot of information. I cannot remember how to cast on, can anyone tell me? I was given a manual, but it does not really explain it. From what I understand, I am not supposed to use every other needle in order to cast on, as it doesn't really work well that way, although it was quicker that way in the store. I did go on google to see if anyone was explaining how to do it, but the one person I found who was doing it, had the camera the wrong way, so you could not see how it was done.
Thank you so much,
lavatera

Posted - 03/06/2012 : 03:21:24 AM Hi: go to You Tube and type in *cast on knitting machine* and several different ways will come up. Open cast on, closed cast on and an E-wrap cast on. Hope this helps. Bernie |
