Hi - I'm just joining the forum after reading yet another article about Clara and deciding I should connect here and take in the knitting wisdom. I learned to knit at age 30, using a Susan Bates kit and with pattern-decoding help and support from my husband. I was not interested in knitting until just about then. While I have minimal time for crafting (I have small children and run a young small farm business), I try to knit every week and love making hand-knit items for new babies and grandmas alike. I'm looking forward to the long nights of winter for ever-more knitting hours!

Welcome, Noelia. Sounds like you are very busy--how great you are able to make time for knitting. Hope you find more time in the upcoming cold months.

Welcome to KR, Noelia! I taught myself to knit when I was in my late 20's, and have been a knitting fool ever since. Of course, that adds up to many more years than I'd like to count!
