I just went to the www.kbbspin.com website, and read that as of February 1st, they're shutting down the website for lack of money and a change of heart. For those that haven't been there to see it yet, its a website that has ads posted to buy fiber, wheels, etc, among other things.

Kbbspin.org is definitely up and running. I posted two ads last week and sold both items. It's a great resource.

They are asking for donations though. I am sending them $ because they saved me alot of fees for what I would have paid through e-bay.

Oh, thanks for the clarification. I wasn't aware that was the URL for the housecleaning pages. I wonder if she'll be refunding people's donations as I ntoice she has been gathering funds the last few weeks in an effort to keep the site going.

I'm in the process of coming up with a concept for a site myself, and it might incorporate a classifieds area. However, I'll need to figure out how to fund it if it gets big. Free is difficult and now that the web has matured, people are learning that it takes funds (whether through subscriptions, ad sales, or whatever) to keep this stuff going.

Another similar place I visit, the Yahoo Group called Fiberfling also is in the process of shutting down because of some controversy of some sort. That's been a great resource for me in that I found my beloved Little Gem for sale there. Oh well.
