I know this is a long shot... I was given a LK-150 knitting machine. It was going well for 150 rows and then it jammed. It would only jam in one direction, going left to right. And always in the same place.
I have looked it over very carefully and I see nothing out of the ordinary. Any suggestions?

You might have a bent needle. Slide the needles forward in that area and see if one is bent.
