how do you place markers on a sweater for increases
do i have to place markers on every row
your help would be appreciated

in crochet, you usually move the markers up with each row - if you are crocheting in the round, you also need a marker for the begin/end of the row. this will give you a starting point for your stitch count.

slip the marker on your needle between two stitches. When you knit up to the marker, slip it from the left needle to the right needle and continue knitting. The marker will move up the sweater as you knit.
