How do.

Clara, this is a marvelous review - Ann Budd is such a treasure & this book sounds like it follows in her tradition of excellent books!

The last paragraph of your review concerned the percent of items that you knit for others. As someone who does that w/ my knitting (as I did w/ my years of quilt making), I am excited by the notion of a book that will help me have a wider, cooler array of things I can make for my loved ones.

Thanks you, Miz Clara, for telling us about this book.

Martha

I wasnt as thrilled as I thought I would be with this book, however there are some nice patterns.

I was very excited when I saw the preview of the book on the Interweave website but once I browsed through it at the bookstore, I was disappointed because there was a good portion of the patterns that I wasn't enthusiastic about.

After reading Clara's review, I thought about it again and realized that the patterns I wasn't enthusiastic about were all felted items. Since I haven't taken up felting (yet), I had subconsciously dismissed them. So I've decided to buy the book and knit all the patterns that I like (there are several). If one day I want to try felting, these other patterns will be waiting for me!
