Posted - 05/17/2006 : 4:38:10 PM I love love love the shape of this bag, and the handles, and the nobbly bits, and everything really. I've ordered mine! Just bought a huge gynormous bag of wool from the local charity shop for a bargain of £3 so I shall get busy as soon as pattern arrives.
Lovely Jubbly!
Best wishes.....Bernie

Posted - 04/22/2006 : 5:19:25 PM I've had the pattern for a few months, still haven't made it, but it is definitely on my to-do list. It's too fussy for me, but I was thinking it would make a wonderful dress-up bag for my two nieces (ages 5 and 3). I could go wild with beads and buttons, I really think it would be a lot of fun!

Posted - 04/22/2006 : 4:00:16 PM I did buy it and I have to say it's a nice pattern. I mean you gotta love a project with less than onehundred rows.
Glad I am not alone there, Kristi! Sometimes I feel that my dislike of beading puts me in the "out" crowd. Although I did have the thought that going all industrial with the pattern might be cool. Could you imagine washers or nuts instead of beads? I really need to take a trip to a hardware store. |

Posted - 04/22/2006 : 08:00:15 AM Charc, I'm with you on that - I love the concept but not all those knobby bobbles. I think it would look awesome with flowers instead though - what a great idea!

Posted - 04/22/2006 : 07:30:06 AM It's a very nice pattern. I don't like beads and buttons, but I like the structure of it quite well. Felted flowers might look nice instead. hmmmm...should I order it?
Cheers,
Charc

Posted - 04/21/2006 : 08:49:32 AM That is fun - I love the blue (heck to be truthful I love anything blue) but for some reason that one in Joshua Tree (with the cans in it still drying) has to be my favorite. I might play with the idea of no buttons though---
Do I need one more pattern????
