Posted - 08/08/2007 : 05:43:43 AM I knit left handed -mirror imaged. I move the stitches from my right needle to the left. When reading charts, if you read the RS row from left to right, then just slant the decreases in the direction the chart shows.
If you read the RS row from right to left you just knit the decreases the way the symbol indicates. For example if / = K2 tog, then K2 tog. Your decrease will slant in the opposite direction, but you are coming from the opposite direction - all will work out fine.

Posted - 08/07/2007 : 2:21:32 PM I knit from left to right, but I work the chart just as the designer intended...from right to left on right side rows.

Posted - 08/02/2007 : 12:49:39 PM When you knit, do you move stitches from the needle in your left hand to the needle in your right hand? If so, you read the chart from right to left. If you move stitches from the right-hand needle to the left-hand needle, you'll need to read your chart from left to right.
Doesn't really matter which hand you use to hold the yarn.
