Posted - 02/05/2009 : 12:57:05 PM I can buy them from Hobby Lobby, or make my own. I have needles and am well familiar with the general process. Should I wrap roving around a straw or something to form the hole? If so, how do I make the bead so the hole remains?
Lots of questions, but I know someone will have answers. Thanks!

I'm trying to remember where I saw them made, in a book. If I find it, I'll post again.
About your question, those beads above had no hole, but I'm sure you could do as you say, creating a hole with a fine stirring stick or around a darning needle.
