Posted - 09/18/2009 : 07:38:29 AM Unfortunately, this is much much more a knitting forum than a spinning forum, and even for the spinners, it's not much of an equipment exchange. You'll have more luck in keeping an eye on the Used Equipment and Spinners' Marketplace groups on Ravelry, on the group Spin-Sales, on the Spinners and Weavers Housecleaning pages, and on local craiglists. Drum carders are an investment, so finding one for less than $250-$300 is not common.
Maybe a local guild or shop has one that they rent out?
