Posted - 06/12/2010 : 12:57:07 PM I'm new to knitting with beads and would like to hear suggestions. I made the mistake of starting with a really fuzzy mohair so feeding 120 beads on and sliding them along was not an option. I couldn't find a crochet hook small enough to slide through the #6 beads. I was able to make a hook from some fine gauge wire and it works just fine.
For my next project, I'm using an 82 x 0.10 crystal bead. My wire trick isn't working. Any suggestions to pre-loading a couple hundred beads? |
