We in New England have been coping with the aftermath of the Storm from H** last weekend. I was finally able to write about it. Not sure when I'm going to be up to knitting again...

So sorry to hear this, and happy that the roof held up and you're all ok. I hope the worst is past by now, and you're starting to get back to routine.

So glad you are all okay. I hope the damage isn't as bad as it looks after things are cleared away.

I don't have a problem with authority, I just have a problem with people telling me what to do.

I read your blog post and oh, I am so sorry to read of the enormous damage that was inflicted on your property by this storm. I'm in NJ and there are many still without power in the NW part of the state due to downed trees. We lost trees and power for 5 days during the last hurricane so I empathize with your situation.

I too can't seem to knit when I'm extremely stressed. While it is normally a relaxing activity, there is a level of focus that I just can't conjure up when there's something extremely upsetting going on. The good news is that as soon as you start to feel better your knitting mojo will return.

All my best,
