Posted - 12/18/2011 : 7:42:09 PM I finished my first baby booties, yayy! a small step but hopefully it will encourage me to try making an adult pair of socks. Just the thought of knitting a pair, makes me feel so intimidated lol!!!

Posted - 12/19/2011 : 07:41:19 AM Hey, zknit, congratulations! If you can knit baby booties, you can knit socks, no problem. Personally, I think there's this mystique around socks that makes them seem harder than they really are. I mean, they can get hard, but they don't have to be. A basic sock pattern is actually a easier than one might think, although guidance may be helpful. I took a basic sock class, and refer to Clara's tutorial on KR from time to time, too (especially for kitchener stitch). Good luck and have fun.
