Posted - 01/31/2012 : 1:18:27 PM I'd like opinions on the following machines and prices. I'd like to make baby blankets and "simple gifts" that would normally take me a month to do in a day! What do my fellow knitters think? All opinions welcome.

Posted - 02/02/2012 : 10:40:15 PM I figure you are looking at used machines, because of the prices you listed. Yahoo has a group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Knittingmachines/ that can give you information.
Sharon in NW PA I always wanted my own library but I didn't realize it would be all knitting books!

Posted - 02/02/2012 : 03:18:41 AM The machines you listed are different gauge machines. The LK100 is a chunky knitter which knits worsted weight and light chunky yarns. The Brother KH710 is a standard gauge machine which knits fingering or baby weight yarn. The KH710 is an older machine and Brother is not longer making knitting machines. Hope this helps |
