Aha! I managed to make a large, round doily! Good, clear pattern from the First Book of Modern Lace Knitting. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I REALLY like that book and highly recommend it, too. I've used doily patterns to make circular lace shawls and they are just so wonderful. Beautiful work, as usual, Solaris!
