Thanks for maintaining the tradition of reviewing an extremely unusual novelty yarn. I can't wait to make a fine lace hankie using the yarn featured in this review.

Let me tell you, the abrasion test on this one was a real challenge. I couldn't figure out how to re-create your standard wear and tear. Someone recommended that I take a strand and slide it down between two very close objects. I did that repeatedly, rubbing it against each side of the close objects until they made a slight squeaking noise. Lo, sometimes when I tried to pull Flossie out, it shredded just a little.

My father in law is always taking those little needles out of my bag!
I think I'll bring flossie for the estonian lace class I'm taking in May. I'm sure Nancy Bush will adore it.

Great review! I am also psyched to know that Amazon is now carrying those tiny needles, I need to order some. Mine keep disappearing.
I happen to know that the Nutmeg Owl uses Flossie in almost all her lace projects.
