How does one learn about this? Is there a pattern you recommend? Sounds exciting!

The thing I liked about it is that once it's done, it's done. No turning the heel and picking up stitches. Also, I found the heel to be very comfortable, wearing-wise. I'm now working on another pair of plain socks with the heel.

They look great Pam! Sweet Pea is beautiful. I am working on Columbine Peak (a Cat Bordhi pattern) in Madelinetosh - black velvet. Just started the heel flap. I'll have to try the Sweet Tomato Heel Socks next! |
