Posted - 10/05/2012 : 08:10:24 AM Hi, I am Lynne and I'm from the Southeast United States. I've been knitting for about six years now. I am an empty-nester and owner of three very spoiled cats. I guess you could really say they own me!
I love to knit prayer shawls and lap blankets. The prayer shawl ministry at my church was re-started last year and I love being a part of the group. We meet once a month to knit/crochet. The items we make are given to those in the congregation who are ill or bereaved.
Looking forward to "meeting" all of you online. |

Posted - 10/07/2012 : 06:17:21 AM Hi and welcome from Oz. We are cat people here too and I am often tempted to knit stuff for them but they would probably not appreciate a finished item. However they do appreciate the knitting process. They love catching the yarn while we are knitting and eventually we come to a soggy bit that has been chewed by a cat. We have to be grateful that they have not chewed through it.
