Posted - 11/29/2012 : 09:52:13 AM It's fingerless gloves/mittens here too -- a pair for my nephew, age 20 (just finished) and a pair for my son, age 27 -- both out of a single ball of Regia 4-ply sock yarn in self-striping greens and browns.

Posted - 11/28/2012 : 4:59:29 PM Will join you. I have just one thumb left to knit on a pair of fingerlesses for my only first cousin. I took her measurements when I saw her a couple weeks ago. Her hands are probably hard to fit with commercial gloves, and these will be fun for her, in colors she requested.

Posted - 11/25/2012 : 2:53:53 PM Good on ya girl. When we were in Scotland for Christmas a few years back I bought these fingerless gloves that had tops on them that you could pull over the fingers and make them like mittens in case you wanted to keep your fingers warm. I thought they were an excellent idea.
