Hello,

It is so nice to find a knitting place to chat with people that share the same passion.
I live in Cincinnati Ohio and have been a knitter for a very long time. I also love to crochet and cooking and reading a good book now and then. I 10 grandchildren, so as you can imagine I have plenty to knit for. I am looking forward to chatting with you all. Hilde

Hi Hilde,

Welcome to Knitters Review Forums, wow how I envy you 10 grand children that would be my idea of Heaven, all those lovely children to knit for.

I just have my two children, who are totally against what they call "home clothes" although my son will wear a jumper I knitted him when it gets really cold and that is only inside, not where his friends might see him!!!

I would love to be able to crochet, I have tried from books and watching it on YouTube, but I still can't get the hang of it, but it took me nearly twenty years to get the hang of using sets of needles to knit in the round, so maybe there's hope for me yet.

Knit in peace and harmony.

Hi Hilde--Welcome to the forum, from Northern California. Yes, I bet those 10 grandchildren keep your fingers busy! I just started to crochet, and find it very fun and lawless--so different from knitting. Look forward to seeing your posts.
