Hope I have this figured out...
I live in Rochester, NY in an old house in the City's 19th Ward neighborhood and we love it here. I am a librarian and library manager who is about to retire and spend lots more time knitting. Can you tell I'm excited about that?
I learned to knit when I was in high school from a friend's mom, and started right out with a sweater that would have fit King Kong...a lesson in the value of swatches and gauge! Over the years I've had lots of knitting adventures and loved it all.

Hi Deborah! Welcome to the KR Forums ! We are glad to have you here!

I am so glad to hear Hong Kong has a sweater for the cool nights. ;-) (That means a smile and a wink)

I'm a grandma too, and live in a city (Baltimore). Please post again and tell us what is on your needles now!

Best wishes,

Anna

PS, I have a pair of socks on my needles now......

Life is beautiful.
