For those wanting this book (I certainly do!), it is available on Knit Picks now for 40% off the retail price. I'm ordering one today.

Ah yes, the thrummed mittens. That sounds familiar--did you post here about those? When I saw those thrummed slippers I remembered somebody here had thrummed, which was good, cause I never have, and I might need advice! I was just trying to explain thrumming to my boyfriend the other day, and he just couldn't visualize it. Now, maybe he'll get a visual.

I bet your granddaughter would LOVE to add some thrummed slippers to her set.

Ooh, Robinsteph ... I want to make thrummed slippers, too, for my college granddaughter way up "north." Last year I made her some thrummed mittens, and she let me know that those must be the "warmest things on the planet." She has been cold ever since her birth!

Hey, thanks for the mention of this book, Donna. I'm desperately in need of some new slippers, and this has lots of cool patterns. I'm seriously tempted by the thrummed ones. I have blocks of ice for feet.

I just requested the book from the library.

I'm working on replacement clogs for my DH right now and made slippers (Felfs and Moonkoosas) for my DD and grandkids over the holidays. Will have to check this book out, too! You can never have too many slippers!

Reminder to myself: PROVISIONAL cast on for EVERYTHING except toe-up socks.
