Robinstephanie, I think he is jealous. He sits and watches me, like he thinks I'm nuts because I can go for hours.I think the same about him and X box. Donna

Baa hahahah! Call the people! Yeah, he doesn't really need to know the whole story, does he? Because we all know that that Tree Rings was just glowing under your praise.

Maybe he's just jealous.

Its funny last night I was working on my Tree Rings by Andrea Rangel Pattern. It looks so nice, I was running my hands across it and saying Ill have to make sure I give you to a good home when my son walked in the room. He told me I needed help and if I tell him that the yarn was talking back to me he was going to call the people for me. I didn't tell him my knitting is always talking to me. Donna

Oh yes, the fiber and I, we're pretty close! Yarn piles can really ham it up.

I have never talked to a chicken, but that's probably because there aren't any around here.

Oh, Robinsteph ... you talk to your fiber! So do I, and yarn piles, and plants, and chickens, and dust bunnies and ...

Donna, with intentions always bigger than her available time. (OkieDokieKnitter on Ravelry)

Snort! (:

I was prepping a fleece for washing this weekend, and had it spread out in all its glory on my living room floor. I was kneeling over it, picking out weedy bits, all the time assuring it it was a beauty, a darling, a perfect gorgeous little lamb fleece. At one point, I was face down, pressing my cheeks into it, getting drunk on that intoxicating raw fleece smell. So: I can relate!!

ps: i have also been known to kiss my yarn and finished knitted items.
