Hey Fellow Knitters/ Crocheters,
My name is Joann and I am from a suburb east of Baltimore. I am 23 years old and I have been crocheting a little longer than I've knit, but both for about 4 years. I am really good at knitting lace shawls (just saying), and I love finding vintage knitting books. I learned to knit and crochet on my own, although I did need help learning how to Purl. I love finding new knitting friends and I hope to find a bunch while I'm here.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Welcome, Joann!

If you're on Ravelry, I'd love to take a look at your lace shawl projects - I infrequently get bitten by the lace bug, but I sure do appreciate oooh'ing and ahhhh'ing over other people's lace projects. :)

Welcome Joann, from another Baltimoron. You've come to the right place for questions and camaraderie.

How do.

Lovely to meet you & to read about your path to crocheting & knitting. Yay for knitting lace shawls & for the vintage knitting books.

Looking forward to reading more about you here on the KR Forum.
