Knitstoyou	Posted - 05/12/2010 : 2:11:17 PM I use the following baby poncho pattern: knit two rectangles and join together - 24 stitches in garter stitch, until rectangle measures 16 inches. I would like to make a larger poncho. Would I just increase the number of stitches or just knit a longer rectangle or both? Any help would be appreciated. I think I am having a DUH moment and can't figure this out. Thanks.

fmarrs	Posted - 05/13/2010 : 04:15:25 AM Larger rectangles make larger ponchos. On the rectangle in your pattern there is the back length measurement. Find this measurement and use it to resize your poncho. Then just adjust the other rectangle measurement in proportion. There is a lot of leeway in this pattern and it is almost impossible to do it wrong so just relax and go for it. fran http://martianmischief.blogspot.com/
