http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/metro/article_ce74697f-8e28-57b3-9af0-cc0cb4c76733.html

My questions:

1. Apart from her mother's celebrity status, what qualifies Bristol to get paid $15,000 to $30,000 per appearance to speak on abstinence?

2. If abstinence is indeed a cause close to her heart, wouldn't she be willing to do it in exchange for travel expenses and perhaps some nominal fee? I mean, even at $1,000 a pop, she would be making a darn fine living for a high school dropout.

Ghosts is it? tee hee hee

Gosh, I wonder if her publicist will have her do signing parties with George Duhbya Bush. The two of them might do better if they get together.

Yes, I do, Shaggy....I'm guessing they got a special deal on three and since Mom already had two, they decided to put Bristol's name on this one.

What makes her qualified to get paid $30,000 to speak is that people will come to hear her. Whether they come for the information or her notoriety - no one would pa her fee if she was not attracting the audience.

Flicka only looked in the interest of increasing her knitting skills, of that I am sure.

Shaggy, Flicka, Kristina, everybody, yes, Y'all come, and bring the favorite knitting and maybe a carrot or a potato for the stew. I have enough wine. hehe That is, if the Cabana boys don't come out of the woodwork with their sequin guns, thongs, and thirst for drink and wild partays.

Inspecting the Cabana Boy Thongs, were you? lol

Don't tell Flicka I told you this, but I saw her take off her sun glasses for a minute of two when they were dancing in their thongs.

Shaggy dear, I was only inspecting the cable pattern on the thongs. That's all.

Yeah, me too! Any pictures from previous parties with the Cabanna Boys?
azblueskies Posted - 02/11/2011 : 08:36:17 AM
I've never seen the Cabanna boys so I'm kinda hoping they DO show up.

May I come and bring Flicka? We had such a good time at our last get together. Lella I hope the Cabanna boys won't show up though. Don't tell Flicka I told you this, but I saw her take off her sun glasses for a minute of two when they were dancing in their thongs.

Yes, please, do come! I will make scones with cranberries and pecans in them for early tea.

Later we can make stew, knit in front of the fire if it's cold out, and stew ourselves drink the rest of the wine with some cheese and crackers.

May I join you, Lella? I can be there early to help with the stewing!

Atavistic, no, she can't even legally drink. But, maybe Alaska is different? Just so everyone knows, this is not meant to be snarky but an observation. It also means that I'm too lazy to go look it up!

Oh Please, Palin and Bristol, don't tell me you're serious about trademarking your names. *sighs* Here we go again. The Office of Patents and Trademarks doesn't really need the money does it?

And BIG "thank yous" to all of you who left stew making hints! I'm going to try again, using all your hints! And, liberal amounts of wine will be used. A glass for the cook, one for the recipe, two for the cooks, one for the stew. Is pie eyed the same as Stewed? hehe.
