Posted - 06/26/2011 : 6:38:54 PM I'm thinking socks for Army boots. I love my Army socks in the winter; naturally, they're part wool! But in the summer time, my feet really suffer. Of course, with Army boots, you need a certain thickness to your socks, which is why I don't just wear tube socks or something generic like that.
If this yarn works, though, it would be worth doubling it, at least for the foot section. Okay, all you sock knitters out there, hurry up and test drive this yarn for us! I've already promised my husband that if I ever knit socks again, he gets the first pair. And I honestly do have to...okay, I admit it, I really hate knitting socks. But it would be worth it if this yarn is everything it's cracked up to be.
