Posted - 09/30/2011 : 08:40:44 AM I am knitting a table runner using a pattern from Kay Meador's "I Can't Believe I'm Lace Knitting" using Sophia in a linen color. It is a 50/50 cotton/linen blend. What a well written pattern, both charts and written. It is a fun knit. There is also a scarf in there I will knit when I am done with the table runner. YOu can't have too many scarves.

Posted - 10/04/2011 : 08:24:47 AM No it is not fine yarn in fact a little rough, but it is going to be a great table runner. It was a little rough which is why I didn't want to make a sweater out of it, but this is perfect. I will put pics up when finished. It is going quickly although I am actively working on 3 sweaters, the table runner and a baby blanket. Ea day I try to do min 4 rows on ea project. I am trying to keep the old mind active. The baby blanket is a tree of life, the sweater are either lace or cable and the runner is a sampler of lace. Then one sweater is ss, I need something easy to take to my Sun. knitting group.

Posted - 10/03/2011 : 12:34:56 PM Wow a table runner. I would love to see a picture of that. The cotton/linen blend sounds nice. I guess it is a fine yarn? How is it to knit? I imagine there is very little stretch to it.
