Posted - 05/23/2012 : 09:41:51 AM Our rural mail carrier just brought a box with my new Hannah's Tote (Hadaki) ... how fun this day is going to be! KnitPicks had them for 50% off, which made me swoon; I couldn't resist a new "summer" bag (o'floral pattern). I had been looking at several of the Hadaki bags online off and on for two months, and probably spent an hour making up my mind which of the bags remaining on the KP site to buy (ahem, not to mention a couple of the Chic-a bags that also were on sale; had to get the total up to $50, you know, for the free shipping).
I had a plane trip in March and sure could have used that pocket on the outside that unzips at the bottom (if needed) to slip over the handle of my rolling suitcase ... I always combine my purse and knitting bag in one tote for traveling. I "made do" with my gray Namaste Newport, but gee, I really NEED a summer-y one, don't you agree? Not to mention that all my totes are so useful for storing my stash in the off season!

Posted - 05/24/2012 : 8:57:18 PM I took a look at the tote on the KnitPicks site, and it is really cute. Yes, I do think you needed a summer-y tote and I'm thinking of one for myself!

Posted - 05/24/2012 : 02:35:56 AM I designed my own favourite knitting bag ages ago and even bought the fabric. However that is as far as I got. One day I will make it.
