Posted - 12/13/2012 : 06:20:20 AM I am new to this forum but need help as soon as possible. In the late 60s I made Christmas stockings for my kids. Many years later I made them for my grand kids. Now I need one more and the pattern has disappeared. I think it was a Bucilla pattern --Green stocking with red and white top that looked like bricks and a draw string with small bells. Please, please, please does anyone have the pattern that they would be willing to share. Thanks to anyone who can hep. |

Posted - 12/13/2012 : 09:41:37 AM Just recently there were some posts on this same topic--finding old Christmas stocking patterns. It was an old thread that people had posted to and updated over the years, and folks were having some success finding patterns they'd known from years ago, I just can't remember how, specifically.
If you search on Christmas stockings in the search function here and poke around a bit, you might be able to find that string of posts. Search function doesn't return results in chronological order, so you'd have to poke, but if you invested some time in it you just might find what you're looking for.

Many have reknit it. You might search their comments to see how they found the pattern again.
Good luck
