I'd like to make an infinity scarf using the trinity stitch also known as the popcorn or blackberry stitch. I know this stitch uses a lot of yarn so I don't want to run out. If I make the scarf 7" wide and 60" long how much yardage do I need? Thanks.

I'd make a swatch 7" x 4" and weigh or measure how much yarn I used and then use that measurement to figure out how much yarn I'd need to knit 60".
