If you made your own sweater vest and it fits right and there are some bottons that need to be attached use your left over yarn and make bottons. Saves you money and use your left overs. I saw the pattern a few days ago and tried it. Came out cute!

I recieved the botton pattern in the email 501 Knitting secrets.Knit botton
materials yarn and needles used in garmeny

Using a provisional cast-on, cast-on about 8 stitches. The number of stitches ca on will vary depending on the your gauge.
Work a few rows in St st.
cut yarn leaving 8-inch tail; thread tapestry needle with cut end, pull the needle through the sts on knitting needle, pull tight. pull same end through the loops at cornor edge, stuff scraps of yarn into ball, pull tight. use ends to sew botton to fabric
