Posted - 04/14/2008 : 2:19:08 PM I was wondering how Elann's chuinky peruvian wool would felt up? Would it be similiar to doubling worsted weight? I want to make a bag that will hold some heavy stuff and take some wear and tear. I was thinking if the chunky would felt up thicker? |

Posted - 04/15/2008 : 12:21:22 AM I used it in a Kitty Pi a few years ago and it felted beautifully and quickly. And yes, I substituted a single strand for a double strand of worsted and the result was thick and firm so it should work well for your bag.
