Lace knitters, ho boy are you in for a treat! Imagine a delicate two-ply laceweight yarn made from baby alpaca, silk, and CASHMERE.

Land O Lace is a small new Minnesota-based company that offers hand-dyed lace yarns for knitters. The Land O Lace story actually has two parts: color and yarn.

All the yarns are hand-dyed to order. The available colorways are divided into two families. First, the semisolid "Just Abouts," in which one color exists in varying saturations. Second, the "Variegated" yarns, in which a second or even third color is added to a dominant first. The variegated colors are not disharmonious or jarring. In many cases, the color changes are gentle enough to work with most lace without distracting from the pattern. the full review

Ok, call me an idiot, but what's KBOW?

Just when I'm thinking I have enough laceweight for a shawl a day for a month, you go and review THIS. You are wicked, I say. Thanks for letting us know about another indie dyer. Hopefully, we'll be able to actually get our HANDS on this one.

Even better is the hint that there's a new Evelyn Clark pattern in KBOW!!! Counting the days until the October 13 release!

Sounds yummy and if the yarn is as good as the, wait, that's Land O Lakes.....

Knitters are going to love the "no knots" policy.
