I really want to knit the Sitcom Chic cardi from the Spring '03 issue of Knitty.com, but I can't find a shade of the Cotton-Ease that I like. Any yarn substitution suggestions?

Thanks!

Any worsted weight yarn will do but if you are looking for cotton try Tahki or Debbie Bliss perhaps? Actually my best advice is to go to Elann.com and use their search to find the yarn. Their prices are just so wonderful.

I made the Sitcom Chic using the Cotton Ease in Cotton Candy it's a light pink.

You might also try going to www.numei.com. They have good yarns that are not terribly expensive and LOTS of colors.

I believe you can substitute Mission Falls Cotton for the Cotton-Ease.

Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece feels really nice and comes in a bunch of colors. I haven't tried it yet, though.
