Dear All,

I think it's a lovely idea to have running stats in your signature - can anyone tell me if there is a standard on this forum, and what it might be?

Please, someone, also tell me where the term "frogging" comes from?!!

Happy Knitting,

Cath

Frogging: Ripping out your knitting. Frogs say "Rip it Rip it!" (ribbit)

LOL!

We call it "unpicking", which is probably why I didn't get it! And I suppose "frogpond" is a lot of ripping?!

And the stats? WIP I've worked out for myself (!) but does anyone want to share the others?

Happy Knitting!

There isn't really a standard on the forum, it is more something we just made up, but FO is finished object and WIP is work in progress, UFO is unfinished object (and probably never will be!), frogpond is where the UFOs go to die!!

Tam, thanks for that info. I find it quite inspiring to see what people have done, and especially like the entries that people do saying how much yarn purchased! Makes me feel not quite so furtive about my own stash!

Happy Knitting!
