i finally have some quiet time...baby's napping...plus the pitter patter of the rain...equals 2 free knitting hours  ...the afghan is calling for me to finish it...must....knit....now... ..ignore piles of laundry...ignore dishes...you...must...knit...me... |

I live in Australia where we have had a serious drought for the last two years. In Melbourne we have had water restrictions in force for the last two years also - you should see the state of most people's lawn!
So when I read the title of this thread my mind was on other things.
But I have to agree.........

If I was waiting until it rained to get my knitting done, I'd still be on baby clothes for my 2-y-o DD!!
So, yes, let it rain.

It is raining right now in Melbourne. Very exciting - we haven't had rain for over a month!!
May it rain non-stop for 2 weeks!!

I am torn; I work for a construction company, and rain = delays. On the other hand, Los Angeles could sure use the water. It was over 85 degrees F today, and it's barely spring! I am dreading summer. . . .

We have flood watches and warnings here in No. Wisconsin. It's the first winter we've had normal snow in 4-5 years, and most of it in the last month.
