My husband and I went and saw the producers on Easter in Atlanta, and there was a song with old ladies dancing and knitting. Granted, it was the "typical" portrayal of a knitter, but it was knitting just the same. :) I don't know if this has been posted already, but I just thought I would share!

How was it as a play? It's one of our favorite movies, but I guess they changed it quite a bit for Broadway. The movie didn't have knitting.

The show was fabulous! I had such a good time, and Philip really enjoyed it as well. It was a good musical to take a man to - I couldn't see him enjoying something like 42nd Street. It was hilarious. Philip rented the movie, and said the musical was much better.

I've seen the movie version, and I've heard the soundtrack for the Broadway show, though I haven't seen the show itself. Though I'm starting to doubt whether Matthew Broderick was ever meant to sing. And they should've kept in LSD. He techno rocked.
