The next meeting of the Cast Away Guild is this Wednesday, June 19th at the Elk Grove Village Library at 7:00 p.m. This meeting Anne will be presenting a program on illusion knitting. Find out what makes the pattern appear and then disappear. Remember to bring a small amount of 2 highly contrasting yarns and needles one size smaller than you would usually knit that yarn. We will also be reviewing installment 1 of the Mystery Knitting Program. The 2nd pattern will be given out during the meeting. If you missed the first part, additional copies will be available at the meeting.

Don't forget the free pattern library, raffle, and door prizes. We invite anyone who is interested to attend. Our members come from all walks of life and their interests are as eclectic as they are! HOWEVER, we all have one thing in common and that is a love of knitting, hand or machine. The guild offers workshops, knit-ins, and outings. So, whether you would like to improve your technique, explore new areas, or simply meet others who share your interest, consider joining us this Wednesday. Elk Grove Village is located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. If you would like more information, please email me or visit our website at http://www.homestead.com/castawayguild.

Happy Knitting,
Anne C (near Chicago)
