One of the reasons I am working on learning this reverse gusset and flap heel is that instead of picking up gusset stitches, you simply increase as you knit around, before doing the flap. No picked up stitches, no ridge. Now if I can only get the size right...

I just started knitting socks this summer and absolutely love it. I have finished all of my pairs except, ha, ha, the ones that I have absolutley despised because of the yarn. Why put myself through all of that turmoil?

I knit one both socks at the same time as well. That makes it much easier for me. Cuff, cuff, leg, leg, heel, heel, and so on. I never get discouraged about finishing that way.
