Goldenrod season in my area. We have at least 4 distinct varieties on our roadside and I just collected a mixed batch when the mower went along the edge of the road and lopped them all. I've thrown the tops in a pot and am simmering with some alum-treated wool and a little vinegar. Any thoughts on this from those more experienced?
